Mekanisme dan Manfaat Kompresi Dingin dalam Pengobatan Segera Cedera Jaringan Lunak

Olahraga merupakan gerakan yang menggunakan berbagai struktur pada tubuh manusia, seperti sendi, otot, meniscus/discus, kapsuloligamenter, dan otot. Oleh karena itu, risiko cedera pada saat berolahraga tidak dapat dihindari. Jika cedera tidak diperoleh dengan cepat dan tepat, dapat menyebabkan gangguaan keterbatasan terhadap fisik, dalam aktivitas sehari-hari maupun olahraga terkait. Jenis cedera dapat dikelompokkan menjadi cedera langsung, cedera tidak langsung, cedera karena penggunaan berlebihan, cedera jaringan keras, dan cedera jaringan lunak. Cedera ini melibatkan kulit, otot, tendon, dan ligamen. Oleh karena itu, penanganan cedera harus dilakukan dengan cermat, dan terapi serta rehabilitasi yang sesuai harus diterapkan. Salah satu alternatif pengobatan yang sederhana adalah menggunakan kompresi dingin. Dalam konteks ini, penulis akan menjelaskan manfaat penggunaan kompresi dingin dalam pengobatan cedera pada jaringan lunak.
