Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kebutuhan mahasiswa keperawatan mengenai komunikasi terapeutik dalam mata kuliah Bahasa Indonesia. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan 10 pertanyaan Harden yang berfokus pada aspek-aspek penting dalam pembelajaran komunikasi terapeutik yang dapat meningkatkan keterampilan komunikasi mahasiswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan ADDIE, yaitu fase satu yakni fase analisis kebutuhan mahasiswa. Penelitian ini menggunakna total sampling, dimana sampel sama dengan populasi, yakni 134 mahasiswa tingkat empat semester tujuh program studi S1 Keperawatan di sebuah universitas di Majalengka Jawa Barat. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah kuesioner. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran komunikasi terapeutik dan Bahasa Indonesia harus saling berkorelasi. Mayoritas mahasiswa menganggap keterampilan mendengarkan aktif, empati, dan komunikasi nonverbal sebagai kebutuhan utama, serta memerlukan pemahaman budaya dan terminologi medis yang sesuai. Mereka juga menginginkan metode pembelajaran interaktif, didukung bimbingan dan umpan balik dari dosen. Hambatan utama adalah kurangnya keterkaitan materi perkuliahan dengan praktik lapangan. dan penilaian berbasis observasi klinis diperlukan untuk menjaga keterampilan. Kurikulum terintegrasi dan sumber daya pembelajaran modern sangat diharapkan guna mencapai kompetensi komunikasi terapeutik yang optimal. Temuan ini diharapkan dapat memberikan wawasan untuk pengembangan kurikulum yang lebih relevan dan aplikatif, serta meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi terapeutik mahasiswa keperawatan dalam praktik klinis).
