Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji reposisi pekerjaan rumah (PR) dalam kebijakan pendidikan melalui penerapan pendekatan pembelajaran tanpa PR di PKBM Alam Jingga. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus serta analisis tematik terhadap literatur dan praktik kontekstual. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian PR yang berlebihan cenderung menimbulkan dampak negatif bagi siswa, sementara banyak pemangku kepentingan mendukung pengurangan PR, dan siswa menunjukkan peningkatan kesejahteraan dalam pembelajaran tanpa PR. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa persoalan utama bukan terletak pada keberadaan PR, melainkan pada desain dan implementasinya. Praktik di PKBM Alam Jingga memperlihatkan bahwa fungsi PR dapat digantikan secara efektif melalui pembelajaran berbasis proyek, pembelajaran berbasis alam, keterlibatan orang tua, serta penilaian berbasis refleksi dan portofolio. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa kebijakan tanpa PR berpotensi meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran sekaligus kesejahteraan siswa apabila didukung oleh desain pembelajaran yang tepat.
