Pembelajaran yang berpusat pada peserta didik memberikan kesempatan kepada mereka untuk tumbuh sebagai manusia yang merdeka, artinya peserta didik merdeka secara batin dan merdeka secara lahir. Peserta didik lahir membawa keberagaman yang unik dan istimewa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui implementasi PJBL berdiferensiasi pada peserta didik di sekolah menengah atas. Pentingnya pelaksanaan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi dapat mengakomodir keberagaman kemampuan dan karakteristik peserta didik. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan melakukan strategi pemetaan berdasarkan kesiapan belajar peserta didik yang kemudian dilakukan diferensiasi proses dan diferensi produk. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa praktik implementasi PJBL berdifferensiasi memberikan dampak yang positif bagi peserta didik dan pendidik. Kesulitan belajar peserta didik dalam belajar materi sistem pertahanan tubuh dapat diakomodasi dengan porsi fasilitas bimbingan yang berbeda dan strategi lainnya. peserta didik lebih antusias dan bersemangat belaja, mereka juga bebas mengekspresikan potensinya sesuai dengan kesukaannya sehingga pembelajaran yang berlangsung lebih bermakna.
