Abstract

Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif bertujuan untuk mengetahui implementasi pendidikan karakter cinta tanah air pada siswa kelas IV SDN Keboananom. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV-B dan siswa kelas IV-C dengan jumlah keseluruhan siswa 49 orang. Pengumpulan data penelitian menggunakan observasi dan wawancara. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu kepala sekolah, guru wali kelas IV dan siswa kelas IV. Uji keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi teknik. Teknik analisis data meliputi penjodohan pola, pembuatan eksplanasi dan analisis deret waktu. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa SDN Keboananom telah mengimplementasikan pendidikan karakter cinta tanah air dengan baik melalui pembelajaran, budaya sekolah dan pengembangan diri siswa, dalam bentuk kegiatan dan program sekolah atau kelas yang berjalan dengan baik dan rutin dilaksanakan, serta kegiatan seperti ekstrakurikuler tari tradisional, pramuka, seni musik dan kepedulian sekolah dalam kegiatan untuk memperingati hari besar nasional.
