Abstract

Citra sekolah yang baik dapat meningkatkan minat orang tua, siswa, serta masyarakat umum di dalam sekolah, yang dimana akan mendukung perkembangan sekolah. Peran humas bisa dikatakan sebagai komunikator atau sebagai pusat informasi dimana peran humas juga sangat penting guna membangun citra sekolah karena mereka diminta untuk menyampaikan suatu kejujuran serta mereka harus bisa membuat kepercayaan pada setiap orang-orang atau pihak dari luar dan juga diminta untuk memberikan informasi sejelas jelasnya. Kegiatan hubungan masyarakat dengan sekolah bisa diartikan sebagai rangkaian kegiatan organisasi antara mitra kerja dalam rangka mensukseskan proses pendidikan serta pengajaran agar tepat sasaran dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan masyarakat, dan pada akhirnya bisa meningkatkan citra sekolah. Guna dari manajemen tersendiri ialah mengelola, merencanakan segala sesuatu informasi untuk dismpaikan ke khalayak ramai. Manajemen Humas SDN Lakarsantri II 473 dikatakan sudah baik, dilihat dari mereka mengelola informasi untuk disebarluaskan kepada wali murid, serta program-program yang dibuat oleh mereka sangatlah efektif karena dapat membuat pendekatan lebih kepada wali murid.
