Abstract

Pancasila merupakan pedoman hidup bangsa Indonesia agar memiliki karakter yang mulia, dan karakter pelajar yang mencerminkan kepribadian Pancasila merupakan cita-cita dari pendidikan bangsa Indonesia. Namun, akibat dari derasnya globalisasi menyebabkan terkikisnya moral pelajar Pancasila. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji tentang pentingnya menerapkan nilai-nilai Pancasila pada pelajar sebagai upaya membentuk karakter pelajar Pancasila, terutama dalam menghadapi masalah hoax. Pancasila berperan penting dalam kelangsungan hidup generasi penerus bangsa yang berkarakter sesuai dengan nilai-nilai Pancasila di era gempuran kemajuan zaman. Dengan demikian, pendidikan Pancasila menjadi landasan yang krusial dalam membentuk karakter siswa, terutama dalam menghadapi tantangan seperti masalah hoax yang semakin merajalela di era digital saat ini. Oleh sebab itu, pendidikan Pancasila bukan hanya menjadi agenda pendidikan formal, tetapi juga sebuah kebutuhan mendesak untuk memastikan bahwa generasi muda Indonesia tetap memiliki integritas moral dan kejujuran dalam menghadapi dinamika zaman yang terus berkembang.
