Peranan Motivasi dalam Meningkatkan Kinerja Guru SMK di Kota Surabaya

Penyelenggaraan pendidikan dapat berjalan dengan optimal akan didukung oleh sumber daya manusia yang profesional. Pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan memegang peranan penting dalam mencapai tujuan pendidikan. Dalam mencapai kompetensi guru yang optimal, peran motivasi sangat dibutuhkan dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru. Peran motivasi dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru juga berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan prestasi siswa dan sekolah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode wawancara dan observasi yang memberikan informasi mengenai permasalahan dalam penelitian ini berupa peran motivasi dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru di sekolah menengah kejuruan. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini adalah tenaga pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan yang berkompeten di bidangnya. Berdasarkan hasil pembahasan dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa peran motivasi sangat berpengaruh dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru.
