Penanaman Sikap Toleransi pada Peserta Didik dalam Pembelajaran PKn di Sekolah Dasar

Pendidikan di Sekolah dasar merupakan langkah yang paling awal bagi seorang anak untuk mendapat sebuah pendidikan. Pendidikan pada sekolah dasar menjadi langkah yang penting untuk mempersiapkan peserta didik yang nantinya sebagai penerus bangsa untuk hidup di masyarakat di masa depan. Di Indonesia sendiri yang masyarakatnya memiliki berbagai macam keragaman dan perbedaan, sangat penting untuk dapat menanamkan sikap saling menghormati dan menghargai perbedaan dari sedini mungkin kepada anak yang pada jenjang sekolah dasar. Pendidikan kewarganegaran menjadi salah satu pembelajaran yang mengajarkan peserta didik untuk dapat menanamkan sikap saling menghargai dan menghormati atau disebut toleransi. Pada jenjang sekolah dasar sangat penting untuk menanamkan sikap toleransi kepada peserta didik, agar nantinya menjadikan mereka generasi yang sadar akan toleransi kepada sesama untuk bersosialisasi dengan masyarakat di lingkungan masyarakat.
